[ MCP Setup ]
One Alchemic connector. The same email and password as the dashboard. Pick the tool you already use and connect it in a few steps.
https://alchemicmcp.getecho.chat/mcpUse ChatGPT on the web. Availability depends on your account and workspace.
Open Plugins and choose Add, then Create MCP App. If it is missing, turn on developer mode or ask an admin to allow custom MCP apps.
Name it Alchemic. Set the server URL above and Authentication to OAuth. Confirm the notice and click Create.
Continue to Alchemic and use the same email and password as the dashboard. Choose Allow.
Type @Alchemic and ask it to show the studies in your workspace.
The connector uses the same login as the Alchemic dashboard. New here? Request access from the sign-in page and we approve it.
Use the same email and password when ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor opens the Alchemic sign-in page.
On the sign-in page choose Create account. Enter your email, your name, and a name for your workspace, then choose Email me a code. Enter the 6-digit code and set a password. That password also works on the dashboard.
Your request comes to the Alchemic team. Until it is approved, the sign-in page says your account is waiting for approval. Once approved, we email you, your workspace gets starter credits, and you can sign in from any client.
The first time you connect, we email a 6-digit code. Enter it on the sign-in page. After that, email and password are enough.
Choose Forgot password on the same page. We email a 6-digit code. The new password works for the connector and the dashboard.
Once a client is connected, talk to it in plain language. These are the usual jobs.
Ask it to show the studies in your workspace, then the insights and quotes on the latest report.
Say what you want to learn, who to talk to, and attach any concepts. Ask it to build the interviewer, run the test interviews, and give you the links. It tells you what it assumed.
Ask it to run the test interviews with synthetic respondents. If it lists fixes, say yes before it applies them, then let it test once more.
Ask for the respondent links only after the test interviews pass. Share the link it marks as live, not the test link, which is only for trying the interview yourself.
After interviews are in, ask it to analyze the study. Then ask for insights, quotes, or a question across the interviews.
Ask how many credits are left. If you need more, it can list the packages and hand you a payment link. You complete the payment yourself.
These are the tools the connector can use. A login only sees the ones its access includes. Open a group to read what each tool does.
